The Ruderman Family Foundation

The Ruderman Family Foundation has been involved with Gateways since its inception. The Foundation has supported Gateways’ growth as a regional agency that provides services, programs, and professional development to enable students with diverse learning needs participate and succeed across multiple educational settings. Gateways provides expertise in inclusion initiatives in Jewish day schools, synagogues, preschools and community supplemental education programs. The Foundation’s support also includes Gateways independent Sunday Program, B’nei Mitzvah Program, Mitzvah Mensches inclusive teen youth group and its Rosh Hodesh program.

In addition to general support of Gateways’ programs, the Foundation provides specific funding for B’Yadenu – a joint initiative of Gateways, CJP and the Jim Joseph Foundation – a project helping schools develop a whole school approach to diverse learning; and Understanding Our Differences© a disability awareness program for day school students.
