Mitzvah Mensches

Mitzvah Mensches youth group

Mitzvah Mensches is an inclusive youth group that focuses on philanthropy, social action and Jewish values. Neurodiverse and neurotypical teens engage in activities (Like bubble soccer, Zumba-thons and field trips) and discussions and work together to determine the ways they would like to make a difference. Teens in Mitzvah Mensches learn about philanthropy and social action through fundraising, grant writing and giving of their time or collected products.

Mitzvah Mensches is a safe and supportive environment where teens are encouraged to explore their creativity and hone their leadership skills, while having fun and building lasting friendships. Students earn community service hours for their participation and sessions are led by our trained social skills group facilitators (using techniques from Social Thinking®).

The program meets from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM twice a month on Wednesday evenings.
