Teen Volunteer Program
at Gateways Accessible Hebrew School
Over the last two decades, hundreds of Boston-area Jewish teens have made the rewarding decision to volunteer at Gateways on Sundays. These teens have the opportunity to work 1:1 supporting students in our Accessible Hebrew School who have a variety of disabilities and diverse learning needs. Our teens build skills, earn community service hours, and make incredibly meaningful connections to our students, each other, and their Jewish identity.
Go Beyond Giving Back
Teen Volunteers at Gateways help our students experience accessible Jewish education.
As a Teen Volunteer, you will:
- Gain valuable life skills for college and beyond
- Earn community service hours
- Receive weekly training from on-site special education teachers and administrators
- Make lasting, meaningful memories
- Build a more inclusive Jewish community
Programming takes place in the Greater Boston area.

I started at Gateways in 10th grade, not really knowing anything about it…and immediately fell in love with the program.
