Making Jewish Life Accessible: A Virtual Convening
The Event
Disability Belongs™ is excited to host Making Jewish Life Accessible, a virtual convening taking place on September 2 at 1:00 p.m. ET. This two hour event will bring together community leaders, advocates, and accessibility professionals to explore what it means to create inclusive, welcoming Jewish spaces for people with disabilities. The program will feature short presentations and opportunities for shared learning and dialogue. This is the second convening in an ongoing dialogue.
ASL interpretation and CART will be provided. Please email if you need any other accommodations to fully participate in this event.
Making Jewish Life Accessible is a collaboration of Disability Belongs™, JBI Library, Gateways: Access to Jewish Education, Matan, Faith Inclusion Network, Jewish Deaf Resource Center, Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies, and Congregation Rodeph Shalom.
