Gateways’ Neurodivergence Professional Development Series

Neurodivergence: What is it and How Does it Impact Students in School is the first session in Gateways’ 5-part virtual learning series in the 2023-2024 school year focused on supporting neurodivergent students. Neurodivergence describes people whose brains develop or work differently. It includes a range of mental and neurological functions that can impact learning, perception and behavior. Each of these one-hour workshops will focus attention on one aspect of neurodivergence. Participants can expect to gain an understanding of the topic as it relates to neurodivergent students, explore how to support these students in their settings, and leave with concrete strategies to bring back to their classrooms and schools.

Cost: $36 per person per session, or $170 for all 5 sessions per person
