Supporting Autistic Children in the Early Childhood Classroom
January 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
$18
What exactly is Autism Spectrum Disorder? What are some signs that a toddler or preschooler may have ASD? And how can we better support children with autism in our early childhood classrooms? In this training, participants will learn the answers to these questions and more.
This one-hour Zoom workshop is part of Gatewaysโ series of โIntroduction to Neurodiversityโ drop-in sessions for early childhood educators. Participants can expect to gain an understanding of each topic, explore how the relevant diagnosis will present in an early childhood setting, and leave with three concrete strategies to bring back to their classrooms.
Workshop cost is $18 per person for schools within the CJP catchment area, and $36 per person for schools beyond the Boston area.
